Child Tax Credit. I opted out. I've checked the IRS website and it shows no payments. Strange just got $48 dollars Dec 14th. Anyone else having this issue?

TurboTax has no involvement in those advance CTC payments so no one knows why you received a check for $48---or even if that check has anything to do with the CTC.

In January you will receive a letter from the IRS that shows how much --if any-- advance child tax credit you were sent in 2021. You will enter that information into the tax return and then the software can calculate the amount still owed to you to reconcile the full amount if you are eligible to receive the child tax credit.

Due to the holidays I am not surprised that the info on the MY ACCOUNT doesn't reflect the latest payment for either the advance CTC or any third stimulus "plus up" payments ... check again next month.
