City taxes not final

I filed my federal and state taxes online back in January, they got accepted and I received my check around February 10th, but I cannot file my city taxes due to the download saying "DO NOT FILE FORM NOT FINAL". I haven't had this issue any other year that I've filed and I am not really sure what I am supposed to do here. I have been waiting and waiting, as other suggestions on here have shown, to be able to file my city taxes, but nothing has changed with the document I have been provided. Am I just screwed and have to pay a $200 late fee on my $18 city taxes?

If you have already filed your federal and state taxes, then it is possible that your city tax return probably needs to be mailed in, but it will depend upon the state.

Please see which city tax returns can I do in the TurboTax state program to verify how your city return can be filed.

Once you confirm that, if you need to access the state interview screens again to complete the city returns, please follow the instructions in this link to access the state interview forms and complete your city return.

and if I have to mail it in rather than filing them manually in person, how do I get the correct form to mail? the only form I have for my city taxes says FORM NOT FINAL, DO NOT FILE.

there's nothing for me to download to mail in that is usable

You may need to update your program. This can be done by logging into your desktop product.  Select Online in the menu on the top, and then select Check for Updates.

If that does not update your program, you can also manually update your program.

If you are using TurboTax Online, the program should be automatically updated.  But if you are still seeing the forms as not final, try clearing your cache and see if that helps.  You can also check this link to ensure the city forms are available for filing within TurboTax as again, it may depend upon the state you are filing your city returns for.
