Clergy W-2, Only Housing

I pastor a small church, and my only compensation is a housing allowance. So my W-2 came with box 1 empty. The only thing listed in n my W-2 is my housing in box 14. (I have a SS exemption)

Turbo Tax obviously won’t let me e-file with a $0 in box 1. Since there are no taxable amounts on the W-2 should I just not include that one and file with only my wife’s W-2? Should I put a $1 in box 1? I really don’t wanna have to file by mail…

Your housing allowance is not subject to federal income tax, so you don't have to report the W-2.  The housing allowance is subject to self-employment tax, unless you have opted out of Social Security by filing Form 4361.  For more information on reporting your housing allowance, see the following TurboTax Help article:

How do I enter a parsonage or housing allowance reported on a W-2?
