I am entering college information on my dependent student and I am not sure how to answer the question below. TurboTax asks:

"Is this your dependent's FIRST YEAR of College? Let us know if this is your dependent's first year of college or eligible school as of January 1, 2024." The Answers available are "Yes" or "No".

This is my dependent's first year of college, however her college did not start until August 2024. As of JANUARY 1, 2024, she was technically still a senior high school. So should I answer "No" to this TurboTax question?

Yes, 2024 is her first year of college.
