TurboTax does not know how to round things correctly.  Yes, it is a problem, as it is not done according to what the IRS says and the IRS has sent out notices to people saying their numbers are wrong.

Unfortunately, there is no way to override the incorrect numbers if you are using the Online version of TurboTax.

There is no point in calling them as they deny it is a problem, and the problem has been around for at least 2 tax seasons.

if the deny its a problem, how would i fix the numbers?

Should i just wait till its processed and then give them a call?

You would need to amend by overriding the software (which can only be done with the CD/downloaded version, and will void TurboTax's guarantee) or use another method to file/amend your tax return.

Thanks for the info! ill definitely get ontop of this.

They say it can be amended via their website after e-filing. But it seems i cant find that option anywhere since its still PENDING. So basically i have to wait it out (even though it was their fault) till its completed and processed then give them a call about the bug that happened.

Greaatttt  you would expect a program to do its job after paying for the "self-employed" package.. thank god i checked the numbers.

sidenote* ive been on hold for the past hour
