Correct Steps to take to take prior to e-filing

I need to do a couple of things before e-filing my 2024 return and want to make sure I use the correct steps in TT  to prevent any issues (issue examples: losing 2024 data, being unable to get back into the 2024 return, or the inability to e-file due to printing).

I purchased TT Premier at Amazon.

Here's what I need to do:

1. save 2024 to a PDF and print it for review

2.  perform a Save As to create a copy of the 2024 return (to test with for 2025)

3. e-file 2024

Can I perform the above steps with no issues?

Thanks,

You can performs those steps with no issues using the desktop editions of TurboTax.

You are doing exactly what we recommend thousands of times to other users.

    Congratulation on being so pro-active.

Note - you should also do a Save after you have e-filed the 2024 tax return and it has been accepted by the IRS, so that you have a clean 2024 tax data file for transferring to the 2025 tax return.
