Could I claim my tax back with the w2 from 2018?

I couldn't get my tax back in 2019 because I was not in the USA and didn't get a bank account either. But now I am in the USA so just wondering if it is possible to get my tax back for 2018?

First----are you a non-resident alien?   If you are NRA you cannot use TurboTax.

 

NON RESIDENT ALIEN  

If you are a non-resident alien, your return must be filed on Form 1040NR, which cannot be prepared using TurboTax.  You can use TT’s partner, sprintax:

Yes, but you will need to contact the IRS to find out what you need to do about getting those funds released to you.  Please contact the IRS according to the instructions in this irs website.

@boncuk24 If you mean you want to file a 2018 tax return then you can still do that to seek a refund if you file by April 15, 2022   But it is not clear to us whether you can use the TT software or if you will need to use sprintax.
