We received a CP12 saying contact [phone number removed] with questions. I've called 6-7 times a week since receiving it in March & the number is never accepting calls to due high volume. I'd like to get more information regarding this notice. How can I do so if they're not answering the phones ?

Hi @HeatherSHarmon , the notice CP12 is related a change the IRS made to correct a miscalculation on your tax return. You may need to mail a copy of the letter in requesting an explanation as to what was corrected on your return. I am attaching a link to help you with this.
