Curious as to why I am getting such a low refund this year?

There is not a simple answer to that question and it is not possible for anyone here to see your return in order to give you a specific answer or reason for the change.  

 

You may want to review your entries just to be sure that everything is accurate and a decimal point is not out of place.  Pay close attention to taxes withheld on W-2s or 1099s.
