Currently the Software is only showing failure to receive the first stimulus check, when will the software give the option for the second stimulus check?

Option only shows for the first stimulus and not the recovery credit for the second one which is being distributed and have been notified we will have to file for this?

All versions of our software have been updated to account for the second payment.

If you are using the Desktop/Installed version of the program please check for updates.

If you are using the online version of TurboTax, please log out of the program, clear your browser cache & cookies and then log back in.

The 2 questions about the stimulus payments will appear at the end of the TurboTax interview.

The questions are in the section Federal Review.

Once the information is entered you will see your refund increase or balance due decrease, and TurboTax will enter the amount of the credit on Line 30 of Form 1040 for you.

Please be advised that the IRS has sent a second round of payments out today, January 8, 2021. If you filed a 2019 tax return and received a refund via direct deposit, we encourage you to check with that bank today to see if you were included in this round.
