One has w2 for $5k, other $3k from pt jobs.  Do I have to include income since below limit?  If so, Where do I add?  Do they have to file a separate return?

No you do not enter their income on your tax return. If that was there only income and it was all reported on W-2s and they did not have scholarship income, neither of them are required to file a tax return. If either of them had more than $400 of income reported on a 1099-MISC or no form, they must file a tax return to pay self employment tax. If they had federal tax withheld from their W-2s, they should each file a return to get a refund.
