I need to delete a long term capital gain item on my Schedule D.  I is populating from a form 8949.  I can not delete the 8949 because it keeps getting recreated.  I know I need to delete the 1099-B that is populating the 8949.  However I have looked at all the 1099-B's listed in forms view and I can not find a 1099-B with the data that is populating the form 8949 that I am trying to delete.  Can anyone help?

Additional information I just noticed:  Box F is selected:  Long-term transactions not reported on 1099-B

type F transactions can be entered through a 1099-B worksheet. other sources are disposition worksheets for partnerships and S-Corps which are entered through a sub-worksheet of a K-1. do you have any K-1s where you disposed of them?

Yes, this capital gain is on a K-1.  My total capital gains for the year is coming out too high since the amount on the K-1 is included in the Schedule D and the same amount is included a second time on the Schedule D.  The source of the second entry is that 8949 I am trying to delete.
