Dependent filing if no income

My teenage son worked in the past so I've filed taxes for him to get a refund.  Last summer he didn't work so didn't get a w2 and had no other income.

Do I need to file a return for him (which TurboTax won't let me do electronically) or can I skip his return for 2022.

Thanks.

If he has no income at all (W2, interest, dividends, etc.) then he does not need to file a return for 2022.
