My 22-year-old daughter graduated from college in 2023 and started to work in Nov 2023. My daughter 2023 W-2 shows wages in the amount of $15,000.00.

1. I supported all my daughter's living expense from Jan thru Oct 2023, can I still claim my daughter as dependent in 2023?

2. Do I need to input my daughter's W-2 income in my tax return?

3. Does my daughter need to file her own tax return?

4. Do I need to prepare the Form 8615 for my daughter's own tax return?

    Yes you can claim her.

You don't include their income on your return. It would only go on their return if they are required to file one.  To file a separate return for your dependent you need to set up a new account.  Online is only good for one return per account.  You can use the same email address for 5 accounts.

Be sure on their return they check the box that says they can be claimed on someone else’s return.
