Loaded my TurboTax 2023 tax info into my desktop TurboTax 2024 program.
2 year history/comparisons missing a lot of data on 2023;

Interest and dividend income

IRA distributions

Pension and annuities

Social Security benefits

Real estate taxes

Taxable income

Income tax

withholding

Refund

Tried multiple fixes and even started over.

Now concerned about the accuracy of data on my return...

    You might need to uninstall the current year version of TurboTax. Then download the software and install it again. When you open the program the first time, be sure to allow all updates. This process should allow your transfer from last year to be successful.

    Your other option may be to upload your prior year return to TurboTax Online. You can start a return for free. Then you can access your current year TurboTax Online return using your desktop installation to finish and e-file. See How do I transfer last year's return into TurboTax Online?

    Did you use the Desktop program for 2023 and have the data file ending in .tax2023 on your computer?   Maybe you have more than 1 .tax2023 file.

    Here's an idea.  Do you still have 2023 installed?  Try opening 2023 program and see if you can get your 2023 return to show up in it.  See if it’s the right one.   Go to FILE - OPEN.   Then save it again with a name and place you can find.  Go to File - Save As.  Then start a new 2024 return and transfer from the 2023 file.
