Desktop download on multiple computers doesnt work

I purchased the desktop version of TurboTax Deluxe 2024 which says it can be downloaded on 5 computers. 

 

When I try to download on a 2nd computer, I'm getting error code 605. It also says the product is already registered to another user, but I'm using the same credentials/username during the install process. 

 

Why am I getting an error message that says it's already linked to another account, when I am using the same log in credentials, just on a different computer?

    Hmm, if you are logging into the account the first download was activated under, you should not get this error. If you are still experiencing this issue, please call TurboTax Customer service.  Here is a link:  Turbo Tax Customer Service

    so does everyone have to use the intuit account it was first downloaded too?

    Yes. The license will be associated with that account.
