Did I allow someone else to clame me on taxes?

There is a question that you're asked when you begin the return and are entering all your personal information:  Can anyone claim you as a dependent on their tax return?


When you are logged into your TurboTax account follow these steps:

  • Select the Personal Info tab
  • Select Edit beside your name
  • There is a question - #3
    • Someone can claim me as a dependent on their tax return?
To View what you had entered after you have filed Print your return and view your 1040EZ. I have included a picture below to help.
