Did NOT ask for License code Upon Set Up

I was never asked my license code when setting up TurboTax from a CD. It said 'welcome back'... does this mean someone else used this disc? I have not continued at this time putting in information, feeling very concerned.

    Or-----did you make a mistake we see sometimes and use online TurboTax by mistake?  If you get to the end and it wants you to pay, that will be a clue that you used online and not the desktop software.   When you use desktop software you do not "log on" to use it---have you been logging on to an account with a user ID?

     

      If you are using online, you are using the wrong program.  You need to switch to the desktop software to get what you paid for.  You have to download it, update it and open it up from your own hard drive to use it.
