Didn't see the "will be claimed as dependent box" on son's taxes so my efile was rejected. We filed an amendment, how long till I can efile mine again?

You will not be able to e-file your tax return.  Once the IRS receives a tax return with a Social Security number  for a non-dependent, they do not change their database even after receiving an amended return.

You will have to print, sign, date and mail the tax return to the IRS.

You don't have to wait to file because you have to mail your return this year even if he amends.  Once a ssn has been used you can't efile it again.
