"Divorced" is not a filing status;  you are asked in the interview if you are married, single, divorced, etc.  But your actual filing status can be single, married filing joint, married filing separately, or head of household.

For Turbo Tax if you pick Divorced it will probably ask you more questions like if you get or paid Alimony.  Did you get Divorced in 2016?

If you filed a joint return last year and were divorced by Dec 31 you need to start completely over and set up a new account and new username and password and not transfer from last year.  See
