Dislike this online filing. When I buy the software and download it, I can file multiple returns. A one time cost. versus multiple expenditures of the same amount. WHY?

They are two different products. For someone who needs to prepare multiple returns, the desktop is more cost efficient. Many people only prepare one return and prefer the online product.

There are a lot of differences between online TurboTax and the desktop download. Certainly the price is a big difference, and the features and capabilities included are also different. If you have a PC or Mac that meets the system requirements for using desktop software, why are you using online?
