Do i add my unemployment amount on box 1 and my PFL amount on box 1 the bottom half of my 1099G form?

If you received the Unemployment compensation and the Paid Family Leave from the same payer, you can combine the amounts received and enter the total in box 1. Otherwise it can be entered as two separate Form 1099-G.

  • Login to your account.
  • Select Federal from the left menu.
  • Go to Wages and Income then Income and Expenses.
  • Scroll down to Unemployment click show more.
  • Click start next to Unemployment and paid family leave
  • Enter your 1099G form and continue to the screen Review your 1099-G info and select Add another 1099-G
