Do I check off that my health insurance met MCC for part of the year if I was covered by private health insurance for 11 months of the years until losing my job?

You no longer need to enter any Health Insurance information into TurboTax to prepare a Federal Return for 2019, unless you received a 1095-A for Marketplace insurance.

If you are preparing a state return that is asking you this, there usually is a 'grace period' of one or two months so that you could indicate you were covered all year.

You could check with your state Dept. of Revenue to verify this.
