Question

Do I have to pay for turbotax when it wouldn't let me e-file my return and I had to mail my return instead.

I had significant losses on the stock market and turbotax didn't like that there were negative numbers on the worksheet.  There was no way for me to fix the worksheet so turbotax wouldn't let me e-file and I had to mail my federal return instead.  I live in Washington so I don't have to file a state return.

It depends.  To cancel Full Service, you must go to the initial meeting and indicate that you no longer want the service or contact support directly.

I paid and mailed my taxes to IRS.  Every time I go to IRS.GOV to find status, it reads,  Verify the estimated date you sent?  It has been since they received Feb. 3, 2022, the same answer.  I called - no info.  I guess it is lost, but  I have a tracking no from USPS.  I do not know what to do next.

@Pookie84

2021 paper returns are now on a pending queue at the IRS.

There is no time estimate provided for when your tax status will appear on "Where's my refund".

Do not file a second time.
