Do i have to report marketplace medical insurance since i'm covered under my mom.

    Did you receive a 1095-A? I assume you did. Yes, you must enter that form into TurboTax.

     

    Often, it happens in a child-parent situation that the parent takes 100% of the responsibility for the ACA insurance and the child declares 0%. This has the effect of giving all the Premium Tax Credit to the parent, which is fair since the parent is usually paying the insurance premium.
