You may not need anything from your closing statement on your house purchase in the year to buy it to add in TurboTax. You should keep it though as you will need the cost of purchase if you sell your house later on.

You can't upload your Form 1098 Mortgage Interest Statement relating to your house expenses to TurboTax, but you may need to manually enter information from it in, but only if you itemized your deductions on your tax return. I assume you are speaking of a house where you will reside.

Normally, what you need to enter is the mortgage interest , points, mortgage insurance premiums, property taxes and mortgage balance information, and that is usually listed on the Form 1098 that you will receive. However, there may be points or property taxes listed on the closing statement that don't appear on the Form 1098 so you would have to research that and add those if necessary.
