Do I need any form to claim my school expenses? No one is claiming me as a dependent. I am claiming my son as a dependent.

Yes, typically the school will send a 1098-T with the needed information. Credits are reported on Form 8863 in Turbotax.

Follow these steps. Go to:

  • Federal Taxes
  • Deductions and Credits
  • Education
