I'm filing married filing jointly.
I was a student for most of the year and have student loan interest.
My wife is a Canadian citizen who is a US resident and has some Canadian assets.
We have pretty basic investments - index funds and the like.
We will be filing part-year in a state with an income tax and part-year in a state without an income tax (so we don't need to file).
