Yes.  Did you get a 1099G for it?

 

You can  type  unemployment   into the search box at the top of your return and hit find.  It should give you a Jump To link to take you right to it.

 

Or Enter a 1099G for unemployment under

Federal on left

Wages & Income at top

 Unemployment - Click the Start or Update Button

Yes, if you received unemployment income in 2021, you need to add it to your income.

 

Follow these steps:

  1. Open or continue your return
  2. In the search box, type 1099-g and hit the Enter key. Select the Jump to 1099-g link at the top of the search results
  3. Follow the interview to enter your unemployment income.
