No, the IRS requests that you do Not amend your tax return if you filed before the unemployment compensation exclusion was available on a tax return.

 

The IRS will be sending tax refunds for the exclusion for all those that filed a tax return with unemployment compensation and are eligible.  The IRS started sending refunds in May and will continue throughout the summer months.
