If I have Turbo Tax 2023 software from costco to use to file 2023 returns, do I need to buy a new software to file 2024 taxes or can I still use the downloaded turbotax 2023 software for the 2024 taxes?
Each tax year is a separate TurboTax program as the tax codes change each year.
For tax year 2024 you would need to purchase the TurboTax 2024 software. The 2023 tax data file can be transferred to the 2024 tax return.
