Do I Need to Claim Side Work Money below $600.00?

I did some side work in 2016. I drew up some stable plans for a builder in South Carolina. I was paid a total of $400.00. Do I need to claim this? I heard if it's anything below $600.00, I do not...  Also, if I do have to claim it, where do I do so in the T.T. software?

Yes, you do.  If you are required to file, you are required to report all of your income.

I heard if it's anything below $600.00, I do not.

That rule is whether the vendor has to issue you a Form 1099.  Even if they don't, you still need to report the income.

How do I file this income with Turbo Tax?

Your income indicates you are using the self-employed version.  If it's anything like the desktop version, just look for the business tab and work through the interview.
