Solved

Do I need to do anything since IRS told me the payment due for 2024 was postponed, and yet I filed my tax return, I specified the payment would be withdrawn on 4/15.

No, if the IRS sent you a letter, keep a copy of that letter as well as your tax file showing you filed and supplied information for payment.

Unfortunately, the IRS withdrew my tax payment today from my bank account.

I learned that I do need to call the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System to cancel my scheduled payment at least two business days before the scheduled date.
