If you work remotely from your home in Illinois, the income reported on your 1099-MISC is Illinois income and you are not required to file a Wisconsin state return.

I started having confusion, when I saw that the state mentioned in 1099 misc was WI, I filed IL state return including both my w2 and 1099 misc as its my resident state, i wanted to be sure that i dont miss filing for WI. thanks
