Do I only need the deluxe version if I am filing with a 1099, or do I need the Premier version? When I click to file it only asks me to upgrade to the Deluxe Version.

To file form 1099-MISC, you'll need to upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe.

But if you have expenses to claim against your self-employed income, you'll need to upgrade to TurboTax Self-Employed.
