Do I pay taxes on payment as an estate personal representative?

I was executor of my dad's estate in 2016. I received $5,000 from the estate as Personal Representative. Do I show that income somewhere?

Yes, the payment to you constitutes taxable income. 


" Do I show that income somewhere?"

In TurboTax, you would enter the payment in the Less Common Income section. Click the Start button to the right of Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C and proceed as shown in the screenshots below.
