Do I put my new or old address on 1099s that I send to a payee?

I lived and worked in one state, and have since moved to another state.  I paid them after moving, when the contracts paid out.  I am wondering what address I put on the 1099 that I file and send them.  I assume this would be the old address so the taxes is paid to that state, the state that both I and they earned it in.
Yes, I am aware that I am late as well and will be assessed a fee.  This is not an issue for the payee though as they are my significant other.

You need to use your current mailing address so that if correspondence needs to be sent you will receive it.

Ok, thanks.  I wasn't sure if I needed to make sure it reports to the correct state, but I guess that is handled when filing my return.
