Turbotax says I need to mail in some forms after efiling, I need to mail in a form 40V for Alabama for payment but the form generated with my information says “do not mail”. What am I to do?

Form 40V says “do not mail” because the form is not final in TurboTax. The form is expected to be final on or about Feb. 9.

If you do not want to wait, use a credit/debit card or bank account to pay directly on the Alabama Department of Revenue’s website at Income Tax Payment Options.

We recommend paying on the website. You'll have a receipt of payment so you know your payment hasn't gotten lost in the mail. If you do this, you will not have to mail in your Form 40V.

You can also use the fillable Form 40V on the state website. Just copy the info from your TurboTax Form 40V.
