Once you enter your unemployment compensation for your Federal Taxes, it will automatically transfer that information to your state return.

You can enter your form 1099-G by following these steps:

  1. In TurboTax, open your tax return
  2. Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages & Income on top of the screen
  3. Scroll down to All Income, locate the section Unemployment and click on Show more
  4. Click Start next to Unemployment and Paid Family Leave.

Alternatively, you can visit Form 1099-G Input Steps for a different method. Both methods will allow you to input the information.
