Question

Does 2018 Home & Business keeps crashing for you?.

I am one step away from e-filing and it crashes every time I hit Continue.  There are lots of other people out there with this problem and I am not seeing resolution.  If a solution is not posted by tomorrow, I am returning the software and moving to another product.

First question we must ask:  Have you updated your software?
Second question:  Are you receiving any type of error message?  What is the program doing when it "crashes"?

Hi Kat.  My software is updated.  There is no error message; the software just quits and I have to reopen it.  It just happened again.  I hit the continue button to proceed to e-file and it closed.

before you move on, do you know how to read the Windows Error Logs? there may be a clue there about what is happening.

@noosh7 I've posted your question where other SuperUsers and TurboTax Moderators can see it.  I'll let you know as soon as I learn anything.

I highly doubt TT will fix this by tomorrow, since this has been a problem for over a month.

Even though you may not be seeing these error codes, many users are experiencing crashes at different points in the program.  One solution that some have reported working is to minimize the window that TT is in (in other words, do not maximize).  Don't know if this will work for you

I had the same issue but I narrowed it down to one program that was the culprit...Spybot Antivirus. It installs 3 services in your startup config. Disable all or uninstall the program. If you don't have Spybot and want to troubleshoot yourself, run msconfig, go to the services tab and uncheck any sketchy programs and see if that makes a difference.
