Yes, TurboTax has two free TurboTax products.

1) If you're low income and have a complicated return, see the IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax .

If you can answer 'yes' to any of these questions, you qualify to use the IRS Free File Program:

• Is your adjusted gross income (AGI) $39,000 or less?
• Were you active duty military in 2020 with an AGI of $72,000 or less?
• Do you qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EIC)?

2) You can file with TurboTax Free Edition if you have a simple tax return.

A simple tax return is Form 1040 only OR Form 1040 + Unemployment Income. Situations covered in TurboTax Free Edition include:

• W-2 income
• Limited interest and dividend income reported on a 1099-INT or 1099-DIV
• Claiming the standard deduction
• Earned Income Tax Credit (EIC)
• Child tax credits
• Unemployment income reported on a 1099-G

Situations not covered in TurboTax Free Edition include:

• Itemized deductions
• Business or 1099-NEC income
• Stock sales
• Rental property income
• Credits, deductions and income reported on schedules 1-3, such as the Student Loan
  Interest Deduction
