Does third party sick pay earned from an employer premium paid STD or LTD plan fall under paid family leave? I took 12 weeks of FMLA leave in 2020.

It depends. 

 

You are actually asking about two different items above, paid family leave, and Family and Medical Leave (FMLA).

 

Third party sick pay would be considered paid family leave.

Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is not paid.  Therefore, it would not be considered paid family leave as you would not be paid.
