I started my taxes using TurboTax and got the notification to send in paper forms. I then decided to use a different software platform. The final refund amounts on TurboTax are different, so I sent in forms from the other software platform in early March. I have heard nothing from the IRS and I've tried to call and get information online with no success. All I can think of is that maybe TurboTax sent an electronic file to the IRS and the paper forms I sent in from the other tax software is different, resulting in some kind of discrepancy in their system. If just need to know if TurboTax sends an electronic file, regardless of whether you file online or via paper forms. That would help me clear all of this up.
