Question

Does uploading my return normally take a long time? *It finally timed out, saved my info, and asked it wanted to try again. Worked that time!

it has been over 10 minutes and it is still trying to upload

No, it generally does not take that long. Try deleting your cookies, clearing your cache and rebooting. If that doesn't work, use a different web browser. See the following:
