Doing a few of my cousins taxes as a non-paid preparer, do I need to fill anything out ?

My cousins have asked me to do their taxes for them as a non-paid preparer. Using turbotax deluxe online, would I have to sign my name anywhere or fill a form as a non-paid preparer? Or could I just put myself as the Third Party Designee and that would be enough?

Thank you!

Using the TurboTax online editions you cannot enter a Third Party Designee if you are e-filing the tax return.

Even if you were to print and mail the tax return, there is nothing for you to enter concerning yourself since you are not a paid preparer.  If you want to enter yourself as a Third Party Designee that is a decision that should be made by the taxpayer

If you using the TurboTax Desktop software each of the returns are considered as being self-prepared. Only a Paid preparer is required to complete additional forms to be filed with the return.
