Don't know how to match FMLA from Box14

Hello,

my wife and I are NJ residents and my wife works in NY. Neither of us took any sick day off in 2024, or any family leave, we even left a few of the allowed PTOs behind as we didn't have a chance to use them all.

However, my wife's W2 has a line that says "FMLA" (for about $330) in her W2, box 14. Turbo Tax is not matching it with anything and I don't know which category to pick. This is not paid family leave (PFL) that she took, as she didn't take any, as written above.

Thanks for your help!

Text in that box is used by the employer and can be anything. It doesn’t affect your return so you can just choose “Other”.

Good to know, thank you. Meanwhile I found the amount on the last paycheck for 2024 and it looks like the employer may have deducted state disability contributions for both NY and NJ, marking one as "SDI - Alternate" on the paycheck (and FMLA on the W2) and the other as "EE State DISABI" on the paycheck (and STATE DISAB on the W2).
I can't figure out which one is which, so I'll mark them all as "Other" as you suggested 🙂
