I don't have a 1095A and won't be getting one.

Have been on medicare for several years now. Turbo tax asks if I have health coverage so I put YES  (it's mandatory for Ca residents )  but since I have medicare,  I put in NO when asked if I have a 1095A ----,  but then I get an error message when I try efile??.

Can I just delete the 1095A  form?

Yes, you can delete your 1095-A since you don't have one.

    1. Open your return in TurboTax.
    2. Select Deductions & Credits.
    3. In the left-side menu, select Tax Tools, then Tools.
    4. Select Delete a form, from the list in the pop-up window.
    5. Check the list for Form 1095-A - Insurance Exchange and Form 8962, select Delete next to the form.
    6. Confirm your Delete, select Continue
    7. Repeat to delete the other one, then Continue with my return.
