Download error 607?

When attempting to enter my license code some letters come up behind the previous letter instead of in front of! Shows error code of 607. I have tried to re enter this code at least 15 times even with another person watching me?

Error Code 607 means the code you are entering is not valid. If you purchased the product from our website, you'll be able to find your License Code in your account. See screenshot.

I purchased turbotax from Costco and I was emailed the ver. code to get started after downloading 2021 program. It is not taking my key that was sent. I have been struggling JUST to try and get into your

program I already paid for. I get the message that I did not file 2020 taxes and do I want to.

I already did this I am just trying to get this years taxes going and I am already so fed up with this

program.

The funny thing is, it is not any easier than if I had never used it because I cannot get going.

Please call me and get me started someday........I have wasted my time today.

Are you using the 16 digit License Code xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx? Are the steps the same way as I did last year?

For 2020 I helped my friend buy the Mac program download from Costco online. It went very well. You first get a confirmation email that says…..

"You will receive the redemption code, normally within the hour, via e-mail. To ensure delivery of your redemption code emails to you inbox, please add CostcoEDelivery@esd.synnex.com to your Email Address book or Safe list."

The 2nd email with the activation key came in 20 minutes. Make sure to write down or print out the 16 digit Key on the email. It is right above the Download Link. Then click on "Click Here" in the email to download the program and follow the install instructions.

I have installed the code several time and always get error code 607. I have tried online and with office depot software. Do you have an answer that works?? Jerome F*** [PII removed]

After a few days trying to enter the security code was finally accepted by the software. Turbotax is now working fine. Thank you. jfgerald

I am having the same issue. I bought Turbotax from Costco and I am entering the correct code from the CD Cover. Not sure what to do?

This error occurs when the activation code is not entered in correctly or the code is invalid. You can see the TurboTax FAQ here for more information.
