downloaded different product than I purchased

I purchased Turbo Tax Premier from Amazon. In my haste to get taxes done very late for me this year, instead of downloading from Amazon as I have done previously, I followed some instructions to go to Turbotaxinstall website. I entered the license code, and got no error message! I have used Deluxe for many years, but purchased Premier to prepare for rental income. I kept waiting to get to the appropriate section for this, but just go tall the way through Federal and State and then realized....I did my taxes using the wrong product! How can I go back and use the correct product w/o purchasing again? Why did Turbo Tax allow me to make this mistake -- isn't the license key linked to a specific product?
