Downloading a corrected 1099 from a broker

I automatically downloaded the 1099 from Merrill Lynch.  Now, Merrill Lynch sent a corrected 1099.  If I simply download this again, will Turbo Tax automatically delete the  old 1099 and replace it with the corrected 1099?

Unfortunately, if you import the 1099 from your brokerage again, TurboTax will duplicate any information that was already imported.

 

You will need to delete the previously imported information first. Or manually edit and/or enter the new information from the updated 1099.
